Meghan Markle's Enthusiastic Embrace Of The National Theatre

As a former actress, we’re sure Meghan Markle was so excited when she recently adopted London’s National Theatre as one of her four new royal patronages from Queen Elizabeth. On Wednesday, January 30, the pregnant Duchess of Sussex made a special visit to the organization, showcasing her passion for the arts while donning a stunning blush outfit perfect for the occasion!

For her latest royal engagement, Meghan, 37, looked super chic in a monochromatic, light pink dress that would make a perfect Valentine’s Day outfit! She paired it with a matching coat designed by Brandon Maxwell. To complement her look, she wore a recycled pair of Aquazzura Matilde criss-cross pumps, which she had previously worn during her November 2017 engagement photo shoot with now-husband Prince Harry. Adding a touch of elegance, she carried a Carolina Herrera clutch that she had rocked at Trooping the Colour last year.

Just before her arrival at the National Theatre, Kensington Palace released a statement explaining why the arts are so important to the Duchess of Sussex. The statement highlighted Meghan as a strong believer in using the arts to bring people from different backgrounds and communities together. This first official visit to The National Theatre allowed her to explore their work and meet some of the talented teams and apprentices working behind the scenes.
