Can we do it again next weekend?” Erin captioned a wedding photo on her Instagram at the time — so cute!

While Erin is currently in remission, the Dancing With the Stars host previously battled cervical cancer. After being diagnosed with the disease in fall 2016, Erin underwent a successful surgery 17 days later on Tuesday, Oct. 11, 2016, to remove all traces of cancer. The reporter then told her oncologist she wanted to recover from her surgery in time for that Sunday’s pro football game. “I’m not watching any football games at home this year,” Erin recalled telling her doctor at the time. “This is [Fox NFL’s] Super Bowl year, and I’m not missing the Super Bowl.”
Erin also gushed how supportive her then-fiancé, Jarret, was during that difficult time. “Let’s not worry about that right now. Let’s just get you better,” she recalled telling her to which she replied, “You wouldn’t miss a [hockey] game. You’d play through any injury, do whatever it takes to get back out there. That’s going to be me.”
In 2008, a man named Michael David Barrett secretly filmed Erin through peepholes in two hotel rooms she was staying in while traveling for work. A year later, one of the videos, showing Erin walking around naked in her room, was released online and quickly went viral. The second tape was never made public. The star subsequently sued several entities — including Barrett, Marriott International, and Radisson Hotels — for negligence in relation to the incident and was seeking $75 million in damages. Erin was later awarded $55 million and Barrett served two and a half years in prison.
